The following is a guideline for submissions to the website and e-mail announcements entries.
- For Web Announcements:
- e-mail to the webmaster with subject line of "BRAA Web Entry" at braa-info@bev.net
- with the (1) information and the (2) location (webpage URL) at which you would like to put the material in.
- The information may be in plain text or any formatted text material. It is preferred that the file is not in .pdf format.
- Any images that you want to include must be in the (3) highest resolution available, the size should be (4) greater than 800 pixels size, and in (5) .jpg format. Though the sizes of the images may appear big, they can be sized to the right proportions on the web appropiately, while retaining adequate clarity.
- If the images you include are embedded in the document, a second set of the images must be included (6) separate from the document. This will ensure that the images appearing on the web page be of high quality.
- These material will be removed from the web between 2 to 7 days after the event date or deadline.
- If you need to create a separate page, it can also be done that as well. Again, you must send the material to the webmaster with complete instructions stated above.
- For e-mail Announcements:
- Deadline is sundown on the fourth Friday of the month for publication in the following month's "Announcements". For example, April 24, 2009 is the deadline for the May Announcements.
- Some months may be busy and two Announcements may be sent out, but do not depend upon it.
- Do not ask for special single Announcement releases.
- Send to drldmm@comcast.net
- Subject line must be "BRAA Announcement Entry" or it will be missed.
- Provide text for the entry in 12 point font preferably Arial.
- Include contact information and web site links in the text to minimize lengthy text.
- Provide graphics that can be cut and pasted.
