A Proper Presentation: Framing Tips For The Artist
By Lee Penny Baker
Poorly presented artwork looks amateurish. Well-presented work looks amazingly professional, and need not be expensive.
Artist/teacher Lee Penny Baker was a framing designer at Damon Galleries in Vienna, VA and specialized in designing and executing unusual framing jobs. After moving to Roanoke, she managed Gallery 3 and oversaw its busy framing department. She has experience framing almost everything – watermedia, oil, acrylic, fiber, 3D work, cigars, feathers and hankies.

She will have several examples of framing for you to inspect and will share tips about matting and putting together a frame job. Bring a work of art- get free advice on its proper framing design.
