A
Proper Presentation: Framing Tips For The Artist
By Lee Penny Baker
Poorly
presented artwork looks amateurish. Well-presented work looks amazingly
professional, and need not be expensive.
Artist/teacher
Lee Penny Baker was a framing designer at Damon Galleries in Vienna, VA
and specialized in designing and executing unusual framing jobs. After
moving to Roanoke, she managed Gallery 3 and oversaw its busy framing
department. She has experience framing almost everything watermedia, oil, acrylic, fiber, 3D work, cigars, feathers and
hankies.
She will
have several examples of framing for you to inspect and will share tips
about matting and putting together a frame job. Bring
a work of art- get free advice on its proper framing design.
