Saturday October 20: The juried show will not go on line until after the reception. Invitations will be mailed early next week, and will be available for pickup (10 per artist) during receiving. While you're waiting, and to whet you appetite take a look at the first time ever overflow show, curated by the NR A committee, which now contains 'declined' works by 82 of the 98 entering artists. The number is still growing as artists send in permissions to display them. The quality of these entries is extraordinarily high - Sue had a difficult job!
Tuesday Ocober 16: There have been several inquiries about raising the prices of works accepted into the show. Sorry, that's a no-no. See FAQ's for more - LB
Tuesday Ocober 16: the beginnings of a new idea - the NRA'07 Oveflow Web Show are one line and will be in development for a week or so. The show will illustrate the high quality of entries. The images are anonymous, to protect artist's privacy, and are posted after the artists have given permission.
Thursday, October 11: Because of the excellent artist response, we have instituted a new "Peoples Choice" award and an overflow gallery with one declined work per artist/ Every artist entering had one work declined.
Tuesday October 9: the post card has been designed - but only the tiny version is shown here because we are keeping the show artists secret until invitations are mailed.) Each artist may have ten cards for their own use - they will be available at receiving (Oct. 21 and 23.)
Monday October 8: There were 98 artists with 276 works entered in the show.

Sunday October 7: Sue Bloom has chosen 36 works by 36 artists. Notifications have been mailed. |
