With amost 400 entries, competition was fierce for this year's Radford Art Show judged by Wyona Lynch-McWhite of Hollins University Museum. About 1 work was accepted for every five submitted. So, special KUDOS to the fourteen BRAA artists (with sixteen pieces accepted and three awards) whose artworks were included: Leslye Bloom, Helen Castaneda, Ann Cattlett, Marie Collier (2), Carole Davis, Myrtle Hooker, Claudia Hurt, Susan Lockwood, Jennifer Lovejoy, Betty Moore, Frieda Post, Martha Rhodes (2), Jennifer Spoon, and Michelle Walter.
Kudos, too, to Jennifer Collins, who served on the show committee.

Welcome to the
most popular
section of the
BRAA web site.
We're proud of our
member's achievements!
KUDOS is a free service to our members. Posting such good news on their own web sites would easily cost in the hundreds of dollars and hours.
Limitation:
Sorry, we can not list classes or workshops with "for-profit" organizations (not IRS501(c)(3).
Please suggest that the group become a BRAA Merchant-Partner, which will permit them to advertise on our "partner" pages and in kudos (see membership.)
Our aims are to make quality art events affordable, attractive and accessible to our members and the public; and to encourage and support one another while fostering creativity and joyfully exploring the arts.
